What You Get
A programme description
you can weigh before you commit
Orbistra publishes the information a participant needs to decide — hours, entry expectations, scope and price — so the decision is yours to make without pressure.
Back to HomeCore Advantages
Six things to check against your requirements
Hours stated upfront
Contact hours and weekly preparation time are in the programme description — not discussed for the first time during an enrolment call.
Out-of-scope items named
The institutional engagement explicitly states that accreditation, legal and financial matters are outside scope. Participants know this before signing.
Cohorts with a ceiling
Short course cohorts cap at sixteen. Every participant is observed in exercises. The ceiling is not adjusted once a cohort is confirmed.
Applied to your organisation
Strategy programme work uses the participant's own context as working material. Faculty provide written feedback on each submission rather than a grade only.
Rubrics shared before you start
Assessment rubrics are distributed as part of programme materials before work begins, so participants understand how they will be evaluated.
Klang Valley base
All programmes run from Kuala Lumpur. The institutional engagement is delivered in-person in the Klang Valley with scheduled online sessions between visits.
Practitioner Faculty
Experience drawn from professional roles, not only academic ones
Orbistra faculty hold backgrounds in commercial negotiation, corporate planning and learning design from organisations in Malaysia and the region. Teaching on the negotiation short course is done by someone who has practised commercial negotiation professionally. The strategy programme is taught by someone who has held planning responsibility inside a regional organisation. Academic credentials are present, but they are not the primary basis on which faculty are selected.
- Negotiation faculty background: commercial procurement and contracts
- Strategy faculty background: head of planning at a regional conglomerate
- Programme director: 17 years in corporate learning design and delivery
- Assignment of faculty by subject-area match, not availability alone
- Contact hour records accessible for three to twelve months depending on programme
- Exercise materials and preparation templates included in short course fee
- Five coaching sessions included in strategy programme fee
- Complete materials set with internal usage rights in institutional engagement
Value and Pricing
What is included in the stated price
Each programme lists what is included in the fee — exercise materials, coaching sessions, recorded access periods — so the price can be compared accurately against alternatives. Pricing is in Malaysian Ringgit: RM 630 for the short course, RM 3,400 for the strategy programme, and RM 4,700 for the institutional engagement. No additional fees are applied for the materials or access periods described in the programme listing.
Service and Communication
Responses that address the actual question
Enquiries about programme fit receive a direct response about whether the programme suits the participant's situation, not a call to enrol. If the programme does not fit, Orbistra will say so in the response. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, and Saturday, 9 am to 1 pm. Enquiries received outside hours are responded to the next working day.
- Direct answers about programme fit, including when fit is absent
- Referral to appropriate advisers for topics outside programme scope
- Office reachable by phone and email during stated hours
- No pressure-based enrolment communications

Distinctive Features
What Orbistra does that is not common elsewhere
The scope statement panel
Each programme listing includes a panel naming what Orbistra does not advise on. For the institutional engagement, this means accreditation submissions, legal structure and financial planning are explicitly outside the agreement.
Hours-and-weeks comparison across all programmes
The Solutions page shows contact hours and weekly commitment for all three programmes on one axis, so you can compare depth of commitment before asking a single question.
Six scenarios minimum in the short course
Each participant in the Negotiation short course negotiates at least six scenarios. This is a structural feature of the programme design, not a target that depends on cohort dynamics.
Two co-delivered cohorts in the institutional engagement
Client instructors observe one cohort and lead a second within the twelve-month institutional engagement. The transfer of teaching practice is built into the engagement structure rather than offered as an optional add-on.
